Team
Manuel J. Vicente
– Founder, and President of Homeland Towers, created Homeland Tower’s unique approach to wireless siting after working as an executive in the wireless industry for more than ten years. Mr. Vicente held several positions at Nextel Communications. He ended his tenure as Regional Director of Site Development. He was responsible for the overall management and long-term planning for site acquisition, development, and construction of Nextel’s northeast wireless network. Mr. Vicente started his career with Sprint PCS and was involved in developing and launching the Nation’s first all-digital CDMA network. Mr. Vicente has managed the development of over 4,000 telecommunications facilities in his career. He has been involved in developing new wireless delivery technologies, including in-building systems and DAS (distributed antenna systems). Mr. Vicente is a graduate of Pace University School of Law and the State University of New York at Oneonta.
Klaus Wimmer
– Regional Manager
Klaus is active in the wireless industry since 1995 and has worked on major wireless projects and deployments throughout his carrier. His responsibilities include managing sites from acquisition through permitting and construction, working with and coordinating multiple vendors across core competencies. Before his work in the wireless industry, Klaus worked as a contractor in residential and commercial construction in various Tri-State areas. With over 30 years of real estate experience, Klaus is an accomplished professional in site development, permitting, construction, and project implementation. Klaus graduated from the University of Music & Arts Munich, Germany, with a BA in 1979.
Raymond Vergati
– Regional Manager
Mr. Vergati has been in the wireless telecommunications industry since 1997 and has been working with Homeland Towers since 2010. Mr. Vergati has managed full turnkey site development projects throughout the New England Market for AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint/Nextel, General Dynamics, Bechtel, Black & Veatch, as well as national projects for microwave deployment for Advanced Radio Telecom. Mr. Vergati has extensive real estate knowledge and experiences testifying before state and municipal boards on raw land applications. Mr. Vergati graduated from Seton Hall University, Stillman School of Business in 1989 and held a BS in Finance.
Vincent L. Xavier
– Regional Manager
Vincent began working within the telecommunications industry in 2006 as a Paralegal/Financial Coordinator at General Dynamics. Upon Graduation from Brooklyn Law School in 2007, he took a position with HPC Wireless LLC as a Site Acquisition Agent and was placed on numerous projects. His largest project made him responsible for the rapid MetroPCS build-out of over 100 sites between Route 287 in White Plains to Newburgh in New York. In 2010, Mr. Xavier began working exclusively with Homeland Towers LLC. Originally focused on Southern NY, he is now pursuing projects throughout New York State and New Jersey. In addition to developing privately owned properties, he specializes in working directly with Municipalities to provide infrastructure to historically underserved areas by guiding the local officials through the process.
Mr. Xavier has played a significant role in the team that has constructed several sites on Municipal properties. Through these successes, he has expanded Homeland Towers’ business opportunities by acting as a local government consultant. Putnam County has recently tasked homeland Towers to analyze and develop a county-wide infrastructure plan for local emergency services. Additional municipalities are seeking to partner with HT similarly.
Christine Vergati
– Director of Zoning and Entitlements
Christine Vergati has been working in the wireless telecommunications industry since 2003 and has been working with Homeland Towers since 2016. After spending over a decade as a Senior Paralegal for a mid-size Real Estate law firm in Westchester County, specializing in residential and commercial land use, zoning, and telecommunications, Christine brings Homeland Towers a broad range of experience and knowledge in all aspects of wireless telecommunication facility siting, zoning and permitting. She oversees all development of every one of Homeland Towers sites from start to finish. Christine holds a Paralegal Certificate from Dutchess Community College; 2004 and an Associate Degree in Occupational Studies, summa cum laude, from Westchester Business Institute, 1994.
Rebecca Hall
– Executive Assistant
Rebecca’s well-rounded experience represents strong analytical skills, staff and office management, event coordination, informational counseling, and sales – all the while being a friendly team player. A highly reliable, efficient, and dedicated multitasker with over 20 years’ experience in administrative roles, she has a vast understanding of the wireless industry. She helps to maintain the day to day workings of Homeland Towers. Rebecca also brings a unique skill set, combining her dynamic organizational and administrative background with ongoing creativity. She holds a BA in English from Central Connecticut State University also holds an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies.
Eileen Tavolacci
– Director of Operations
Eileen Tavolacci is the Director of Operations for Homeland Towers. Subsequent to her studies of Finance and Management at Long Island University, she followed a career in Commercial Insurance for more than two decades. After a brief hiatus from the business world, she obtained her Masters of Fine Arts Degree and has been exhibiting her art in New York City, throughout the United States and internationally. Eileen has worked with Homeland Towers since 2012, combining her extensive business experience with creative thinking to manage the financial and day-to-day aspects of operations.
