Manuel J. Vicente
Founder, and President of Homeland Towers, created Homeland Tower’s unique approach to wireless siting after working as an executive in the wireless industry for more than ten years. Mr. Vicente held several positions at Nextel Communications. He ended his tenure as Regional Director of Site Development. He was responsible for the overall management and long-term planning for site acquisition, development, and construction of Nextel’s northeast wireless network. Mr. Vicente started his career with Sprint PCS and was involved in developing and launching the Nation’s first all-digital CDMA network. Mr. Vicente has managed the development of over 4,000 telecommunications facilities in his career. He has been involved in developing new wireless delivery technologies, including in-building systems and DAS (distributed antenna systems). Mr. Vicente is a graduate of Pace University School of Law and the State University of New York at Oneonta.
